One of the daftest things these days is being to write a review about everything that you buy often within a few hours of receiving it, eBay is not alone in this request but on this occasion it went into the hub within an hour of receiving it.
I had bought a bike on eBay and the blurb suggested that maintenance had been carried out by a local bike shop - sounds good on paper but as the free hub was not working properly I decided to strip it down to find out why. Full credit must be given to Hope for their excellent videos on strip down and maintenance and in this case pointing out that if this spacer washer is not inserted during reassembly then the free hub will not turn freely which is vital to it's operation. Therefore the assembler at the local bike shop had made a simple mistake of not inserting the spacer but worse still hadn't checked the free hub operation.
