Its large, 6.4 cm, 360° swivel sunshine LCD monitor provides a clear view even under strong light. Thanks to the docking station that also functions as a camera stand, you may entertain friends and family with the results. With several special effects such as fade and mosaic, your slideshows can be personalized. The calendar function facilitates the search for specific images and an integrated clock not only keeps track of time but also doubles as an alarm. Operation is aided by a multilingual menu (more languages can be downloaded from Olympus' website).This product comes with the P-S100 printer.The IR-500 camera and docking station are simply connected to the P-S100 printer and images return true-to-life prints due to utilization of dye-sublimation technology. A Collector's Delight
First, this camera works well. It takes good quality pictures and is pretty easy to use, once you get used to its design. I do not know of any other camera maker that used this design and Olympus appears to have used it only once. It is actually quite logical in that it permits placing the view screen against the camera out of harm's way when not in use, but on this camera that feature works differently than on others. Not better, not worse, just different. The docking station is used both to recharge the battery and to transfer photos to a computer. Altogether, something of a collector's item and certainly a conversation piece for me when I have showed it to other camera fans.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
