The lens system has a minimum focal length of 5mm and a maximum focal length of 20mm. There is also a built in lens shield to ensure it stays protected. The camera is equipped with a Smart AUTO mode that automatically evaluates the shooting conditions and selects the appropriate settings from its 32 setting options. With this feature, you don't need to adjust the shutter speed. Instead, simply point, start shooting, and let the camera do the work. You can use the Canon PowerShot A2200 in all lighting due to the wide variety of white balance presets, including cloudy, daylight, fluorescent, and tungsten light. You can also use the automatic exposure mode or adjust it on your own. There is a built in flash with red eye reduction that is effective between one and 13 feet away from your subject.
