Does what it says on the bottle.
Although the tablets looked an unusual colour & were rather large, I have been surprised at how effective they are, I only take one about 1 hour before bedtime & have a lovely sleep. Since my husband's sudden & traumatic death I havent had a good night's sleep, even though I have also been prescribed under doctors orders- those made me feel really drowsy first thing in the morning, but these are entirely different & my mood has also improved first thing.
