Does not really register correctly...
Have had this for a year or more. It reads low and does not pick up a breeze that would easily lift my flag. This could be because the pickup is very small. If it was a bit larger it might capture more wind. We had a severe windstorm here last year. It destroyed my sunshade. Winds in my area were measured by others at 50 to 60 MPH. This device measured a maximum wind of 34 MPH. It has to really blow out here to get it to read more than 10MPH. The pickup is mounted in the clear 18 feet high. Had high hopes this would allow me to not need to invest $300 or more. Oh well, guess you get what you pay for with a tiny pickup adapted to a bike speedometer.

Mounted on my Deck corner post. 25' of wire was enough to run into house, Had no problems installing, or reading the instructions. Has been working for a few days now. It's doing what I wanted it for. Kinda wish the meter was larger. I can't see like I use to, so I have to get up close to read it.
