Nikon P50
This camera is a little old now in the digital world but still gives good images for most purposes. Handle's well enough with sufficient functions to get the most out of its potential. Hi ISO performance is a little poor but the lens is fast at the wide end of the zoom. This model is a better buy than some of the new budget cameras on sale. It uses AA batteries but it worked with my rechargeable AA batteries so that's not a big issue. So in summary as long as you can pick this up at the right price this could be a good option. Don't pay too much as there is a lot of choice in the market and some high end mobile phones may give better results if you don't need an optical zoom function.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

great litle camera
Pocket sized with easy to use features - we did not have a manual with it as we bought it second hand and have not needed one. It takes great photos and films. It's on the heavier size for a pocket camera because it uses AA batteries, but I like the fact that you can change these in an instant and don't have to charge it up in advance. The image on the LCD screen is a little less clear than more modern cameras but this doesn't impact the quality of the images taken, however I dropped a star for this reason because it does mean that I'm not quite sure about the quality of my images until I see them on the laptop.
