A good budget DSLR with a lot of lenses available
I bought this to replace an A100 which was damaged, and on the whole I'm very pleased with it. It's smaller than its predecessor and seems to have better battery life. The main disappointment was the viewfinder - it doesn't seem to be as well-designed as the A100 and an A200 I tried. It's a little harder to see the edges of the image, especially if you wear glasses. I think it was aimed more at the budget market than its predecessors, and the viewfinder is one of the ways they cut corners. It's not a major concern but it's worth thinking about if you have eyesight issues. There's a huge range of lenses available very cheaply, especially in the longer focal lengths which were designed for 35mm cameras, making this a good choice for photography on a budget.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

A decent enough dslr for small money
Having bought a Nikon d40 from new and having it fixed for a fairly hefty proportion of its value, when it started playing up again, I attempted to fix but no success. Then I looked for a cheap dslr. This one came up and I'm very pleased with it. It's well built, has all the functions you need and produces very good pictures imo.
