The Lloytron battery charger is excellent
The Lloytron AA and AAA battery charger is excellent for charging all types of AA and AAA rechargeable batteries 4 at a time. Although it may take 8 hrs for most batteries once they are charged they last quite along time depending on which rechargeable batteries you use, yes you can get battery charger that charge batteries in extremely quicker time that cost almost twice as much but the batteries seem to run out alot quicker. When you buy the Lloytron battery charger you also get 8 AA duracell rechargeable batteries and for the price that is fantastic and I don't think after trying this battery charger that I would use any other type of charger, so if you are looking for a battery charger you can depend on then this is the one for you because after trying it I'm never going back to the ones I used to use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This Product works well,...is light and practical,...but is not sturdy enough in my opinion.
The overall "Build Quality" lets this Lloytron Product down. It does not feel in any way "Robust or Durable".....My criticism is based upon an "Uni-Ross" portable / Mains Battery Charger ,...which I,ve had for 10 years and cost almost the same. I decided to Purchase the Lloytron because they looked almost identical but they are not. Excellent basic battery charger
This charger is very straight-forward to use. It works well, although it is basic - for example when the batteries are charged it does revert to trickle mode, so you have to time charging in order not to overcharge. It will also charge batteries that other chargers will not, presumably because more sophisticated chargers detect a higher charge current than expected (a problem with old batteries with less residual capacity and more leakage). Fairly basic but does the job
No indication of whether the batteries are charged or not so I had to go by the timings in the instructions (and instructions with re-chargeable batteries which were slightly different). Also you can only charge AA and AAA batteries in pairs - i.e. 2 or 4 batteries, not single or 3. The AAA batteries go in at an angle and are not very secure so can fall out if you knock the charger. All that I need
A neat little unit and apparently works very well (and if you are charging fewer than four batteries, you can load them on either side, you don't have to start at the left every time). I have not tested 9V, but find that AA and AAA batteries charge as per instructions, e.g. 4 hours for AAAs. I don't use expensive batteries; if I did, I might have chosen to pay more and get the model that 'switches off' when the batteries have recharged, but I am well satisfied with my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Charger not giving a complete charge
Purchased with 2 9v Duracell rechargeable batteries, I also have some AA batteries, the charger does not fully charge any of them, the max time I have managed to get in run time from the 9V batteries is about 2 hours, astandard non rechargable battery last for over 20hours, the charger does not appear to provide a full time charge. Great charger
Great battery charger, works perfectly, shame it doesn't say when they are fully charged but new that before I bought it. 6/8 hrs and my batteries are fully charged as I already have a battery tester I can use for checking power level. A cleverly made and neat device! No trailing wires! Fits the most common battery types! Charges reasonably quickly! Red light indicator tells you when it is charging! Green when it's charged! Great value for money
A light weight, compact, and efficient recharger, versatile and attractive; although not the sturdiest piece of plastic kit I've used over the years, nor the fastest to completely recharge batteries of different makes (e.g. uniross, energiser, etc), or sizes. Bright Light !!
Nice compact battery charger that plugs straight into a normal UK 13A socket. Two charging bays, each of which will charge either 2 AAs (@200mA), 2 AAAs (@100mA) or 1 9V (@20mA). Note: the AA and AAA batteries have to be charged in pairs. One small thing... Charging is indicated by the two insanely bright blue LEDs which are genuinely the brightest I have ever seen in my life, painful to look at, and will limit the number of places where you can plug the thing in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
