I hit the nail on the head.
I wanted a bigger and better quality monitor for my pc but at the same time its price would fit my economic reality, and while I was "surfing" on eBay looking for the best offer I saw this ACER monitor (one of my favorite brands for its quality and for its price) and I did not miss the opportunity. Although it is refurbished when I took it out of the box it looked as if no one had touched it before (immaculate), and I also received a two-year warranty. Get a slice of the G-Sync pie for cheap
This thing is great. It's got great picture compared to the old Samsung monitor I was using. 144hz is just awesome. Buttery smooth with G-Sync enabled. Yes it works flawlessly with Nvidia 10 series cards. Although it is actually an AMD Freesync certified monitor, G-Sync works right out of the box. Although you'll need to adjust the refresh rate in Windows or it will default to 60hz instead of 144hz. ( Right click -> Display settings -> Advanced display settings -> Display adapter properties for Display 1 -> Monitor -> Monitor settings drop down menu -> Select 144hz and VOILA! If you're in the market for an awesome gaming monitor and don't want to spend a fortune, you'd be silly to not look into the Acer XFA240. Great build quality, great picture, no dead pixels, easy to use OSD. All for cheap. But make no mistake, this is not a cheap quality monitor.
