Expand your network!
A simple but effective way of being able to expand your home network at a realistic price. At a gigabit, it is fast enough to maintain and cope with most home internet speeds. Simple to use just plug and play. However, you must have your own Cat5 RJ45 patch leads as none are provided. Just patch a lead from one port of the switch directly into your router/modem and the other 4 ports are ready to use for any device you wish to add and to hard wire to your network. Small and efficient
Very easy to use, plug and play. It's a lot smaller than you think. I plugged a single network cable in from my router then the cables to the other systems and it worked a treat. A neat little box
I am reasonably familiar with Netgear products. They seem to get smaller and lighter every time. This is a great little switch and hub and allows me to connect my older machines as well as the newest to my 1000Mbps main router. It works exactly as expected. The only niggle I experienced is that this model is intended as "desktop" only and, being so small and light, will not stay put.
