Clean and Convenient.
I use mine for model steam engines. It is clean (no soot) and convenient to use. Unlike fuel tablets it does not liquefy and is not unpleasant to handle or smell. The tins are a little awkward in that the lids are not made for frequent removal and replacement, and getting the last of the gel from the underside of the top is awkward too....but these are made for single use and burn from the tin. It is easy to store and the tops seal well. Because it does not produce soot, the flame is virtually invisible and so great care must be taken with it. 2 hour tins only burn for 1hour 30 minutes.
2hour tins only burn for 1hour 30 minutes. For every tin in the order (36) that means 36x2=72hours. However, having paid for a burn of 72 hours I am only going to get 90 minutes per tin which 1/4 short. Reflected over every tin that means 4/72 hours = 18 hours short. This is not what I paid for. I paid for 2 hour tins that burn for 2 hours. I did not pay for an order leaving me 18 hours short as shown above. And now have had tome to use mire if them its worse...
