A neat and tidy camera which is easy to use,bought it because my previous P72 3.2 somehow landed under the wheel of my car
superb quality photos ,easy to use idiot proof , colour imagesare superb and even the kids enjoy it
Having owned one of these cameras previously, when it went faulty outside of guarantee we decided to replace it with another make but were not happy with the quality of the pictures. As the camera is used to regularly download pictures to a website, where potential customers can enlarge/expand pictures, quality can be the difference between a sale and a slow moving stock item. Sorry that my first Cybershot only lasted 3 years max, but so far happy with Sony replacement
Bought the Cybershot 3.2 P72 new about 5 years ago. It went everywhere on holidays etc and took superb photos. I broke it a few weeks ago and so went to my local camera shop to replace it with something more modern. I was after another Sony but was 'talked' into buying a Panasonic 10 megpix 'wonder camera'. After a week of comparing photos from my old P72 to this new Panasonic, the Sony was much sharper and the image was more 'crisp'. I returned the Panasonic and changed it for the Sony W130 and bought another 2nd hand P72 off E Bay. The new Cydershot is 8millpix and has lots of other features and the image IS sharper than the Panasonic, but taken 2 ident pics with both cameras (P72 and Sony W130) it is really hard to tell the difference!! The new Sony is much smaller, can take 600+ photos (P72 only 100 with a 128mb card) and has a custom battery which seems to last forever whereas the P72 takes AAs and battery life was always an issue( always carried spare batts). The story is, that now I take my new Sony W130 in my pocket and the wife uses the P72 which she feels much more happier controlling. I paid £25 for a mint P72 and £170 for a new W130 (with 4GB card) so the choice is yours. Regards. Ian. Diss Norfolk.Read full review
easy to use and great quality pictures. The instructions are user friendly. the camera is neat and robust - the build quality is top. There are not really any factors that I don't like about this camera but I haven't used the video option so can't remark on that.
