Reviews"These songs could serve as a map to the bohemian gypsy heart of a young woman coming into her own. They're rife with desire, hope, the hunger to see what the world holds, a little uncertainty and always the exultant joy that can be found in the playing."
Sarah Jarosz is a young artist of exceptional ability. As a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, her talents are rare and were apparent from a very early age. Her background was in Bluegrass music and while those influences remain, she has easily transcended them. She regularly plays an octave mandolin, an instrument with which I was previously unfamiliar. Her sound is warm and often sweet, but she is an artist of great sophistication. Follow Me Down is an excellent example of her music.
