Provides a Good Finish
Paint is very good on most wooden surfaces; skirting boards, hand rails, textured doors etc, and I am very pleased with the finish. If you have large flat areas, over one third of the size of a door for example, not so good as although, I got an acceptable finish, because it dries quite quickly it is hard to get an even layer of paint and it is noticeable. It is absolutely brilliant! I love it. A joy to paint. No longer a chore. I cannot believe I actually enjoy painting. The local Castorama store used to try to get me to buy their French paint and I was always insistent no, I wanted Dulux. The assistant would take the mickey out of me saying « oh I love Dulux. » I didn’t care. French paint is too expensive anyway. This is good quality paint. I mostly buy Dulux because of the quality and this paint does not disappoint. No undercoat needed even on bare wood. I recently redecorated our lounge and a predominant feature is an open staircase. I stripped the spindles and kickboard to bare wood and painted them white. The result was stunning.
