Available in 5, 7.5 and 10cm thickness. I went for 7.5mm to go with the Decathlon air bed base. They fit together perfectly and give the most comfortable sleep I have ever had in a tent. I am 71 and have been camping since age 16, so feel well qualified to judge. The sleeping mat inflates easily and quickly. Deflating takes a little more effort but the valve works well. The trick is to put the valve in deflate position and pre-roll the mat once. Then roll it up and tie it with the supplied velcro straps. I have 2 of these mats. I find the slightly older one impossible to get back into the supplied nylon bag, although that doesn't matter to me as all my sleeping gear goes into one waterproof grip bag. However, if putting it back into its little sack is important to you then it seems Outwell have been listening to feedback....the newer storage sack is larger. I would not relish expelling the air and rolling up a 10cm thick mat. I imagine it would be hard work, especially the double mat. That said my 7.5cm mat is comfortable, even laid straight on a hard floor. So the thicker one should be even more luxurious. As should be obvious, I am a 'happy camper' with my sleeping combination.Read full review

Bought this to use instead of an air bed which failed on me. This self inflation mat (just needing a couple of breaths to top it up) was much more comfortable. Lighter to carry although slightly more bulky. Would highly recommend.
