A-HA, The Final Concert.....Touchy subject !
This concert has to rate as the best example of the musicianship and showmanship of one of the best bands of it's day. Billed as the farewell concert (2010) of the careers of the trio, and a highly emotional performance, it was somehow tarnished by the World tour that materialized several years later. I wonder how the international fans attending that 2010 Oslo concert felt after the expenses incurred to attend this, the ''LAST'' concert? Just a gripe I know because this concert is without doubt the best recording visually and sound wise there is to buy. Morton's voice had faded somewhat in the years since this Oslo recording and the ''revival'' This was evident in a mini concert that was aired on TV prior to the UK leg of the World Tour. I can only say that in my opinion, grab this 2010 Blu-ray as the selections are spot on with references to all the albums. The rear projections on stage and the production values achieved overall give a great time capsule of a great band at their peek.
