Good product!
I have always been interested in flight simulators and flying aircraft in games (when available). The controller feels great and is simple to connect (for the games that allow it). One minor problem that I have is the “clasp” for putting them together... it does not hold them together perfectly and you kind of have to awkwardly stack / shove them together. Great when it works
It’s a great product when it works. It had a little bit of drift but nothing a 5-10% dead zone would fix. I really liked mine but it started pitching forward intermittently. When it was working it was great. Sadly mine started to have issues after a few days. I had a problem with the pitch and when I researched fixes, it seems a lot of people have problems with the roll or yaw. Not really usable if you can’t fly straight. Also you really need a PC to troubleshoot the problems. I’m really surprised at Thrustmaster that you can only update the firmware with Windows. I’m fine with it only working on PS4 & PC but you should be able to update the firmware via PS4 or Mac.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

..... not sure how you got you’re hands on new old stock but this surely is not used!! Given the package looks like it came from the bottom of the ocean, the controller itself looks brand new and in fantastic condition! I would recommend anyone thinking about buying this as a no brainer, save a few bucks! Works great for PS4 and PC games with HOTAS support!
Totally improves the playability and immersion of games like Star Wars Squadrons and Elite Dangerous. Plug and play with PS4, with good settings straight off the bat. A little more configuring involved for setting up on the PC, but once this is done works well. Feel of the flight stick is great and buttons are all in handy places. IMHO works best when then the throttle and stick sections are detached and used shoulder width apart - feels very natural. Pretty great low-cost HOTAS option
It was super easy to get the drivers up and running on Windows 11. Everything works and feels exactly like you'd expect. There's even a tension adjustment knob on the bottom of the flight stick so that you can change how stiff / loose it feels. There's plenty of cable there for separating the 2 halves and mounting them, but the cable management system that's built into the bottom makes it pretty easy to only expose as much cable as is needed. So far, I've used it to play Descent, Overload, and MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. It took a bit of setup / tinkering to get everything working with MW5, but that's on the game, not the controller. So far, I'm very happy with this thing. If you're looking for top-of-the-line SIM controls, this ain't it... but if you're wanting a fun starter HOTAS so that you can try out a more immersive control scheme for space, flight, and mech games - then you'll enjoy this thing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

There's a learning curve with Squadrons, but after a couple weeks it's smooth like butter.
My advice, don't change the controls. Just learn what's mapped. The joy stick is easy enough, but the throttle has buttons that aren't intuitive. But in time it'll become second nature.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Big Improvement over regular PS4 controller

Difficult to load required information.
