Excellent value. Great little machine.
Great little machine. Starts first pull every time. We are on about post hole 15 through various very difficult and demanding ground types. Some areas have alot of hardcore, others have lots of roots. We have pushed this little machine very hard. We have had one expected breakage. That was the unsuported blade on the 6 inch cutter. We expected it to break off and it did. On inspection the weld was poor and looked like the shield gas had run out. We have re-welded it and added a small support web and are back in business. I would recomend it used by two people as it has a good kick when ithe blade jams. I would also suggest that you check the tightness of the engine mounting bolts as one came out during use. The exhaust out let is on the top and a bit in the operator`s face, I feel that this would be better placed below. Over all this machine has performed very well and saved alot of hard work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quick and easy
Drilled around 30 post holes so far (another 60 odd to go), digging by shovel was back breaking and was only digging 3 -4 post holes per day, now doing around 6 or 7 and mixing cement. Easy to set up and easy to control, I would recommend this product to anyone who has a lot of holes to drill, neat holes drilled compared using a shovel. When drilling large post holes in soil with hidden tree roots, use small drill bit first then next size up drill bit, don't over work it and think "I will do a big hole straight away" its easier if done in stages. Drill change is quick and easy, each drill comes with its own securing pin. Petrol mixing bottle is handy for getting the correct 2 stroke oil mix. Be careful of the exhaust when using machine for a while (gets hot). When resting between drilling holes, lay machine on opposite side of throttle control (to prevent damage).and on a soft surface to prevent scratching the paint finish. Good Auger

This product worked a treat. I needed to bury 10 cm round fence posts 60 cm into the ground and the auger was just what I needed. Good instructions and not much assembly needed. It took less than five minutes per fence post. I was probably lucky that I was drilling into topsoil and clay. I suspect the work would have been far more challenging if drilling into very hard or stoney soil. Had a comedy moment when the drill bit stuck and the torque threw me over.
