Amazing value iconic Diver!
The best value automatic diver from a historical heritage brand at the budget price point. I have swapped the strap for a softer rubber tropic strap and it wears incredibly comfortable. I used to wear Omega Planet Ocean and it's crown was digging in to my wrist - there is no such problem with this Citizen's crown. The watch also is 20 times cheaper than Omega:) The movement in these watches is now Miyota 8204 instead of 8203 as before - so it's hacking and handwinding and mine is running at +5 to +10 seconds a day which is great. I highly recommend this certified diver which was also used by Italian navy. This Citizen has proved itself as a reliable workhorse so it hasn't really changed since 1997 and the movement since 1977.

Iconic Diver's Watch
Fantastic and iconic 200 metre automatic diver's watch. The bezel has a slight rock of about 0.5mm and that is the only negative I have. As for everything else I can only lavish superlatives on this brilliant watch. The 8 o clock position of the crown at first disturbs the eye but you quickly get used to it and when you find how comfortable it is to wear you realise why its at the 8 o clock position. These automatic Promaster's are getting harder to find and if you are after an automatic with a bit of history and longevity this is a great choice.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

SKX killer
As a brand, I felt citizen didn’t have the respect that Seiko does so had never owned a citizen before this but thanks to favourable online reviews I took the plunge with this. I am glad I did! A proper ISO certified 200m automatic diving watch at this price is awesome. I favour the design over the seiko skx ( which I previously owned) - the matt bezel, the 8 o’clock crown, the deep black dial with silver outlined hour markings are all superior. One down side is the small day/date on a black background which you struggle to read. Lume is good and nearly equivalent to seikos lumibrite.All in all a good buy and not my last Citizen!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

SKX Replacement hmmm Close.
I really do like this watch, it's not just automatic but hand wind too which puts it at an advantage over the SKX, I do have 4 SKX's as they are one of my all time favourite watches but this is similar but just enough of a difference to catch the eye, the lume is great, keeps time to 9 seconds a day, well mine does so that's good, plus you have the day/date windows, it's well worth the money.

A classic diver
This is my first automatic watch and I preferred this one to the actual leader at this price range, the seiko skx. The key factor was the height. This one has less 1mm which might seem very little but the skx seems to protrude off your wrist. This comes in an amusing oxigen tank fantasy case and the rubber band gives it a very relaxed wear.
