Perfect for the job and at a great price.
I ordered these mirrors after doing some research first. They were the best value I could find anywhere for a pair. They are easy to fit and remove from the car as well as being totally adjustable. Good view but too low a quality clamping system.
I love the view that these mirrors give me, but the quality is not good enough to make them easily useable. The four clamps have 'pushed on' softening pads to tighten the steel screws down onto, which fall off every time you unscrew the clamps too far. If you lose one in the long grass, you might as well throw the mirrors away. The plastic parts of the clamps are made of that greasy soft type of plastic that distorts easily, and this makes it difficult to get a good solid connection to the mirror. On my Renault, the 'door' mirrors are actually attached to the bodywork just ahead of the doors. Because of this, the door can knock the mirror whenever it gets opened too wide. If the attachment was good, this wouldn't matter too much, although it might knock the mirror out of alignment. However, what it does, every time, is knock the fitting off the door mirror! If this happened in a bad place (motorway hard shoulder?), you might lose the mirror that way. They are easily adjusted on their rods, and give a good view, but for me they are too fiddly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor Quality Item
These items had two problems:- 1) The plastic pads which attached them to the cars wing mirrors kept falling off the screwed ball ended fixings......this meant that if they were lost the mirrors would then become unuseable. 2) The screws which were meant to stop the mirrors rotating on the outrigger round shafts could not be screwed low enough down as the thread in the plastic fixing bracket had not been threaded properly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
