I bought this as I was struggling to open my large gliderol door . My door is over 9 feet high and 18 feet wide and it was a nightmare to open and close . Saw this on eBay and after a bit of research decided to buy it . I had to alter my door roller quite a bit as it didn’t fit straight on to me door so I had to cut out the original end cap on the door with a dremel to carve it out. Setting it up was quite easy and it’s working perfectly wish I had done it years ago . Even my wife who’s very tiny can use the door now . Very smooth and quiet couldn’t be happier. It has a light and give a small beep when you open it . Comes with Theo remotes and an internal switch to close and open it and also has a timed ligh which is very handy .Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

easy to install and great price
Easy to install if you follow the instructions on the leaflet. I fitted mine in about 1 hour once i had the door propped up . Was easy to programMe the motor operator for up and down limits and with 3 off controllers it is well worth the money. I have one on my key ring,one in the house and the large one fitted to the wall in the garage. The range of the remotes is amazing as i tested mine with over 60 mtrs without climbing over my next doors friends fence and it works a treat, i would imagine it would be even a longer range to it. A local company wanted £540 to install it so a no brainer there as the price i paid for it and installed my self was a massive saving. Any questions on it feel free to ask. LIFTMASTER DOOR OPENER CAN BE FITTED BY AN ADULT WITH AN ENGINEERING BACKGROUND
Once I had read through the supplied installation manual I discovered that it was with the scope off any companent engineer following each installation section, Having an engineering background I gathered all the required tools to be close at hand plus the required rope & a support stand for the door Having installed the lifter within a 2 hour window then followed the set up with hand control plus opening & closing limits then also set that the lifter would stop the door if it came up against any solid resistance when closing also if anything was stopping the door to open fully, having done all the limits etc finally opened & closed door with the remote control everything fine, reading through manual again & to make a retention on the door spring tension opened & closed door again door worked even better after the spring retension

good door motor
Small hiccup during install, which required me to retension the roller door spring, this was my fault in not ensuring the axil shaft was tightly clamped. However once corrected, the setting up of the motor was a doddle, it is running perfectly. The safety feature works perfectly, but I have decided to add an extra safety feature.
