Gotcha, You Little Pests!
The first signs were a dozen smaller than house-flies swarming around a bedroom window in late-October/early-November which forced me to conclude that they must be getting in from the loft trapdoor as the windows were closed. Looking around the loft with a lamp revealed a lot of fly activity. So, after setting off a smoke bomb in both the loft and the bedroom in question I sat back and awaited results. The residual smell which is like you get after letting off fireworks, was easily dispersed by an open window and the dozen or so flies in there were also dead. What I wasn't prepared for was the avalanche of HUNDREDS of dead flies falling from the trap door as I opened it! Fortunately, to open the trap door I have to move the bed to position the ladders so they all fell on the carpet from where vacuuming was not a problem. I'm aware that this only kills full grown flies and if they recur, I'll also have to seek a solution to get rid of the eggs too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cluster fly apocalypse
I discovered a cluster fly infestation in my loft. It was horrible up there, like "The Birds", but with flies. They were in my hair, ears, eyes, even my mouth. I researched what to do online and bought 6 bombs from pest control supermarket. The bombs look like small fireworks; I placed two, on terracotta plant saucers and tin dishes, in our long, low loft, after checking for bats as instructed, (there were none) beat a hasty retreat, and closed the loft. The next day I heaved the vacuum cleaner up there, and cleared the corpses from the battlefield. Along with cobwebs, the amount of dead flies more or less filled a the new bag I'd just put on the vacuum. A few live ones remained, where they'd been protected by having got inside something, but overall the bombs were very effective. When I lit the bombs I caught a whiff of the smoke - unpleasant - but by the following day it had completely dissipated, and no trace of odour remained.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best stuff you can get for cluster flies in my opinion.
We have been plagued with cluster flies at our farmhouse in West Wales for over 120 years. This is the first time we have have only had a handful of those little b*stards in our old loft after a treatment. To be fair, the loft is huge but it just works. This is a no brainer. Just buy it. Bye bye flies
Did the job as well as the pest control people we paid £230 for the year before. Would recommend. We have a very big L shaped loft and put one each end and one in the middle.
