I have just completed a full refurbishment of my office / storage room and I needed them to complete this job. There has been times when I could have done with but I put of buying. anyway I was very impressed with the quality and how sturdy they are, at times I was cutting sheets of melamine boarding and it was a doddle, I wished I had purchased they sooner. They were delivered on time and for as little over 20 quid they are a great buy, I am very pleased with them.

(Professional kitchen and bedroom fitters - non DIY) Bought these to replace some worn out Stanley sawhorses. They specified a 200kg load per bench which is ideal to hold kitchen worktops. The trays were also appealing as we've always made use of them on the Stanleys. The trays are a bit flimsy and the clip system to hold the benches closed is a pain in the backside when you have to open these quickly with one hand. The hanging clip broke the first day so don't think much to that idea but for us we don't get chance to hang the benches anywhere anyway so no problem. There are little push clips in the top of the benches, both left and right. Designed to stop your materials sliding off while working - realistically they are not strong enough to hold anything and if we used them they would snap straight off! They are more of a pain because they tend to keep popping up and getting in the way as well as hitting knuckles on the flipping things! The benches are also quite lightweight and tend to move around while sawing panels etc. The overall quality of the product is generally good but they are definitely more suited to the DIYer rather than workers. Maybe they will last a while but I can't see them outlasting the Stanleys which gave us over 5 years of service. So considering the quality and build - if you're going to use these for odd jobs - yes I'd recommend. If you're going to use these every day for work - then no. Pay a bit more and get something with a bit more sturdiness.Read full review

They are cheap and work well to start with, but a serious safety issue emerged after only ten minutes of use. With a light internal door supported on them, the saw horses were unseen, and any work such as sanding or wiping the door caused small movements which made the legs of both the horses walk together and close up during the work, leading to a sudden collapse of both ends. This is a dangerous product as supplied. The plastic tool trays act as spacers, but are hinged and naturally fold up. Either place a heavy weight on each tray or make some sort of safety stay for each saw horse to make sure they don't suddenly collapse.

Really surprised how good these are for the price. They clip together and you can hang them up, as they have a plastic clip that folds up and has a hole in it to hang them on a nail etc. When you close them be careful not to trap your skin as they have a tab on the legs which stops them opening. Overall I'm very pleased with them and if only used as a DIY tool, they should last a long time.

Was not expecting these light weight horses to be very sturdy but they actually are, never moved with a full sheet of 18mm MDF board on them, Might not be perfect for someone using them every day but just right for a DIYer, unbelievable value, wish I bought them ages ago
