    Very nice!!

We bought this to replace our second attempt at another brand that was similar. So far we are vey pleased with it. First of all, it looks awesome. it is a little big but, that's not an issue for us. Pretty easy to use and fill and it brews pretty quickly. Settings for clock and timer are pretty straight forward. We have only used the cleaning setting once but, it's seems to function well. One thing I like is it has a light under the dispenser so you can actually see how full the cup is getting.. besides... it looks cool! It keeps coffee hot for 2 hours and has a little alarm that tells you it's going to cut off so you can restart it if you want. On the down side, the little meter that tells you how much coffee is left doesn't seem accurate at all. The other downside with all of these types of dispensers is that you can only fit a certain size mug under it. Although it does take a good size mug, you can't fit a Yeti under it (lol) so I fill my mug and dump it in. Can't attest to the endurance yet but, if need be, I will update this. Over all, it is a very nice product.

    not worth the money

After the first three times using it, it became apparent that it's nothing more than an overblown table top unit. I am not liking the way you need to clean it, nor the way the brewed coffee is stored inside the unit, not like a regular carafe, where all you worry about is dropping the glass container. I never cleaned it but of course they want you to use their stuff and not sure why you couldn't just use vinegar. I was asked three questions prior to filling out this part. Is it easy to use, It is easy to clean, and does it brew quickly. I answered no to all of them. But did think about how quick is quick? Less than three minutes? Less then 5? Easy to clean. Although I didn't do that, I did read the manual about it and seemed more of a hassle than it should be. There are three parts that pull out to clean. The water reservoir, the brewed coffee reservoir, and the grounds. So basically it is the same, with the counter top ones, but it's not, The storage one for the brewed coffee, has a heat plate. Not unlike a heat plate for the steel carafes. The clock is yet once again very small. It has a fuel type gauge that shows how much brewed coffee is left. Auto on and off. You can choose a 1-4 cups setting. It is a big machine and with the flip up lid it will not clear most under cabinet spaces, and you can't replace any of the coffee grounds or coffee reservoir without moving it out from them anyway. So, all in all, I won't recommend this for a space on your counter top. It just seems like a lot for no better than what it's designed to do.

  • I'm a Dunkin Donut Coffee Snob!

I'm a three time Cuisinart Grind & Brew owner. I wanted something different this time so I purchased this unit as a factory refurbished piece. It was different! No built-in Grinder but I had a separate one to use when I wanted to grind fresh beans. It set up very easy right out of the box; Coffee brewed quicker then previous coffee makers. Coffee brews and retains heat at perfect temperature; If people like stronger coffee just activate the 1-4 cup button ahead of starting the brew. Unit is very easy to clean! Size & dimension of unit fits right under my cabinet when not in use. Power cord length is fine. Coffee flavor & body is very good.

  • Bought as a gift for my Sister

I have a different Cuisinart, and since her old Mr Coffee kept blowing its thermo link I convinced het to try a Cuisinart. I am the fixit guy in the family, and I do my best to guide family to items that don't need my "Fix-it" services. But she is a true inquiring mind, and after investigating the various models, and input from a girlfriend. She lit on the fact that this unit dispenses direct into her cup without the breakable glass pot involved, also has the programmable feature to have the coffee brew in conjunction with her wakeup alarm !

  • Nice looking unit. Works great.

I got one of these for my mother who lives with me. She is older and has arthritis in both of her hands. She had a hard time lifting the coffee pot when it was full. This is perfect. Made her life a little easier. I like the way it looks on the countertop, and the coffee gage is a nice feature. However, the smell of coffee in the morning is definitely minimized, as the coffee is brewed inside the machine, and the lid stays closed. That is the only drawback. At least it is to me, as I love the smell of coffee in the morning.

  • Perfect coffee maker. Great price and quick delivery time.

My old Cuisinart coffee maker the on demand DCC-2000 is slowly showing it's age. Dang it's only about 12 years old or so. I liked the looks of the 3000 and some of it's new features. So far we really love it. It makes great coffee. Trying to convince the kid's to get one after they spent a fortune on various other brands over the last 5 years. I hope this model lasts as long as the 2000, if not the ole 2000 is sitting on the shelve.

  • Brews quickly and with full-flavor.

Ordered this unit thinking it was "brand-new" as advertised, then found out it was factory refurbished. No wonder the cheap price. Nevertheless, this is a fine unit that is easy to use and clean and brews great coffee. The serving temperature is about 175F which is ideal for me. Love the coffee fill light that shines into the cup so you can see how much is dispensing. The only thing less than ideal with this unit is that the "coffee done" alarm is very weak.

  • Good but not stellar

This coffee maker brews a very good cup of coffee. This is a quality product from Cuisinart. The timers work properly and the auto shut off provides for safety. The water heats to the right temp for proper extraction, but it is no better than a regular pot for keeping it warm. This means that it ages within the hour and anything left in the tank should be thrown out. Turning it off right after brewing will extend the drinkable time, but then you still need to reheat the coffee in a microwave. On the plus side, there is no carafe to break and the pour dispenser works well. I would recommend this product to a friend. As for me, I'll be trying a coffee maker with a thermal pot next.

  • Cuisinart DCC-3000

Excellent coffee maker, great taste, I find it a little noisy but it tells you it is brewing. AC cord is ample for most kitchen counters. We ;like the coffee on demand feature. Used 4 hour shut down and had hot coffee for most of the day. Thanks Cuisinart for an other great product. Richard & Mona

  • Great looking. Brews a fine pot of coffee.

I like this coffeemaker. It looks great on the counter, but it is quite large. I have to pull it out to the edge of the counter top to lift the top and add coffee without hitting the cabinet overhead. For some reason I don't like cleaning it. It is a three step process. Remove the coffee strainer, (was not with the pot and I had to call to get a replacement sent. Service was great and it shipped very fast), remove the strainer holder, then pull out the container holding the brewed coffee to clean it. The parts are large and need to dry and take up space on the drying rack. So, if I forget to clean it and want to set it up for the next day before I go to bed it is a pain because if the outside of the "pot" holding the coffee is wet I don't set it inside. That is inconvenient to me. In all fairness you would have to do most of that with any coffeemaker that brews a pot of coffee. It is quite nice to be able to set the time that the coffeemaker will stay on and keep the coffee hot and a gentle very low beeping sound lets you know when it is finished brewing, not loud enough to wake anyone up. I like sticking the cup underneath the server and filling my cup. It even has a light to see how full the cup is. To wrap it up I would say it makes a great pot of coffee, love the bells and whistles, looks great but a bit large, personally a pain to clean.
