Overall efficient SSD, no problems when I clone the traditional HDD to this SSD. Took about 40 minutes.
It works fine, loading Windows 10 quickly, Internet access is fast. The capacity of 120Gb Is just enough for normal activities, Windows 10 and MS Office 2013 almost take up almost 65Gb as SSD takes up more blocks (hdd space) compared to traditional hard drive. A worthy upgrade
It does the job perfectly. It was easy to format this drive and transfer o/s and files from older non-ssd. System is now much faster. Definitely worth changing. Great SSD works perfectly & cheap

great value SSD
If you want to improve the performance of your PC or laptop, the best thing to do is to replace the hard drive with an SSD. At about half the price of doubling your RAM it will give you a superb performance. I got mine to use in my laptop which had Win 10 on an SSD. The new one has had Linux Mint installed and it works superbly. The physical drive swap only takes about five minutes. 120GB should give you plenty of capacity but if you have lots of music or video files you'll be better off with a larger SSD or an external one. Great Drive
Used to replace HDD from an old (10 years) laptop/netbook. The device which only has 1gb of RAM would not reliably boot into Windows. Tried installation of Linux but was highly unreliable when booting from HDD instead of USB. Despite formatting the HDD (300 bad sectors) problem continued. Ordered this SSD from EBay which arrived next day. Despite the old drive requiring SATA connection plus a separate connection for power this ssd ran perfectly just off the SATA connection. Drive formatted quickly and accepted the Linux install without any problems. Laptop is now working very well as a Web browsing and Libre Office machine. It is as quick today as it was new out of the box 10 years ago. Don't throw away laptops after they slow down. Put in a SSD such as this one and install Linux. Best upgrade at a great price
Just received this SSD for a replacement to a HDD. Easy to instal (clone from HDD) and really speeds up my PC even though its running Sata 2. Boot times increased (start up and shut down) and programs are vastly more responsive. Excellent value for money.
I have not worked this ssd heavily, I'm not a game player, but so far it performs excellently for all the usual tasks and video playing. I always run the operating system on it's own discrete drive, so 120gb is way more than enough. Plug 'n' play. Fast!
The best bit is it's plug 'n' play. It has rejuvenated an old Sony VAIO from 2004, which was running XP, but is now running Window 7 - lightning fast! Used to take ~3mins to boot and be usable, now it's ready in 40 seconds! I don't know how this compares to others, but it's plenty good enough for me. Only downside is it occasionally fails to fire-up from a cold start (about 1 in 10 boots), saying "Operating system not found." A quick off/on cycle and it's there again, so it's not worth the hassle of sending it back, especially for the price it cost and the hassle of re-installation.
