Good for cramps and excellent for sleeping problems.
From reading other reviews I was a bit unsure about going ahead and buying this product, but I've been using it for a while now and I have to say I have no great complaints about it. I just want to mention a couple of points, namely: - The correct way to dissolve the powder is to fill a glass with water/liquid first and then pour the powder slowly whilst at the same time using a spoon to dissolve it. Pouring the powder first, then the liquid will create lumps. - In my experience I've discovered that it is possible to need less than the recommended dose. At the very beginning one teaspoon was OK, nowadays half of it is more than enough. This product is quite potent and provokes quite a deep sleep, so taking a bit too much will make me feel a bit groggy for a few hours after waking up. Not as good as usual
I have ordered this product before and was very pleased with it but this particular batch was very disappointing. It is very bland, it seems as if the tang from the citrate component is missing altogether and it doesn't dissolve as it usually does with hard particles left at the bottom that won't dissolve. It's a brilliant product. Very much good quality for money, and very effective. Lasts ages too. You only need about half a teaspoon once a day. Though if you take half a teaspoon twice a day, even better. Magnesium citrate is so good for you. It has countless benefits. I love this product because it's cheap and certainly cheerful, and does what it's suposed to do. Thank you to Now foods for keeping their products at a reasonable price too. You must really care! I use Magnesium Citrate to make an electrolyte rehydration along with Potassium Citrate, Calcium Latate and a small amount of Himalayan salt. See Dr Berg video on You Tube.
