Check your wrist measurement!
I only wanted a radio-controlled watch with a clear dial, and this item is first class in that respect. I wasn't bothered about a talking one, but was unable to find one that didn't! However, the reason I couldn't award a full five stars is because of the short strap. It's 8" around my wrist, and it only just fits me. So I suggest you measure yours before ordering, and if it's any more than that and you go ahead, be prepared to have a new strap fitted when you get it. Also be aware, if you're totally tired of such a thing, it bears the words "Made in China"!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I didn't really need a speaking watch as I'm not visually impaired but I love having an accurate watch like this that is sync'd every day and so is always dead right. Quite useful for shortsighted people
This latest version with a plastic case although probably less resistant to bumps than the previous metallic ones is lightweight and comfortable. The radio reception happens every night and it is very good not to have the need to adjust the watch manually which is far from practical.
