I have been using these rolled dog collars on our Samoyeds for many years now. They don't damage the fur or stain it. The only weakness is the middle ring to feed the strap through. It breaks easily if you inadvertently attach the lead to this instead of the correct ring. I've done this twice now. It's very difficult to find the right ring on a very fluffy excitable dog that's in a hurry to get going!
