The Visqueen 300MU is a heavy-duty 4m x 3m black damp-proof membrane (DPM) made of recycled low-density polyethylene. The DPM is made to mitigate moisture from external sources to block work and brick work. In other words, it's ideal for tasks that require water-proofing or damp-proofing. Does the job ok but not as good as it used to be
I've bought this membrane from these guys on a few occasions. Ive always been pleased with the very swift service and the quality of the product. On this last occasion though, the membrane was noticeably more brittle than the last lot. I had half an old roll from a few months back to compare it with and the new roll tore more easily and was less flexible (it was a warm day so it wasn't down to temperature) I can only assume the supplier has changed, or the materials being used to make it have changed. It did the job ok but I did have to be more careful especially around cuts for pipes etc or it would tear. I'd buy again, but would hope for the old quality again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
