My first hand mixer ever ....

This hand-held mixer replaced one I had used for years and, at first sight, the beaters seemed rather flimsy. However, it packs a real punch and beats well even for stiff mixtures. My only dislike is that its slowest speed is too fast and tends to spray flour out of the bowl onto itself and the work surface. Once the flour is mixed in it's fine, but I have to stir it in manually before beating to avoid this problem. I make a lot of bread and have found the dough hooks do a good job and are really easy to clean afterwards. For the price this machine is superb - I bought it as a cheap stop-gap when my old one packed up, but now feel I shall not need to replace it with a more expensive one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This mixer is good looking and twice the power of my ancient hand mixer, which it replaces. It comes with a good selection of blades. The normal beater blades look a little flimsy but perform well (hence the four star rating).
