NotesBelieve it or not, this landmark album has *never been reissued from the original master tapes 'til now!* But that's only the beginning disc one adds six bonus tracks, three of which have never been available. Then disc two captures a largely unreleased April 26, 1971 gig at London's Old Vic Theatre at which most of Pete Townshend's Lifehouse project-the genesis for Who's Next -was unveiled to the public for the first time, warts and all.

  • Great Music!

Recently, I had a few of the songs from "Who's Next" stuck in my head. I couldn't find my copy despite a thorough search, so I looked on eBay to find a replacement. As it turns out, there was a newer, deluxe version out with the original songs, alternate versions of some of them, and a live show featuring many of the songs from the album. It now is in regular rotation in my car with "The Who Sell Out" and some old, old Fleetwood Mac CDs. This album is a must for any fan of The Who, If you don't have it, then buy it!

  • Good quality representation of this classic rock album.

While slightly forward in the highs, it has great detail. The album never really had a great deal of low end, and this mix faithful to that. Roger's vocals are clear and Pete's guitar work is definitely up front as usual. Overall, it's a worthwhile version for any Who fan.

  • The greatest album from the 1970s expanded one listen will convert all listeners as to it's greatness.

This album was their bre ak through album when it was released in August 14, 1971 and it remains so today This is the best, even zeppelin couldn't top it

  • Who's Next live!

The bonus disc, At the Vic, is essential Who. They are performing Who's Next and other rare songs for the first time, clear and enjoyable concert.

  • Great Remaster

The remastering quality is great and the main reason I bought it. The live bonus disc is a nice addition and definitely worth listening to . I'm not much into outtakes but these are good.
