The Legend
I’ve had a few Omega’s over the years, I’ve even been luck enough to have a few Speedy’s but this is the nicest one yet. I know all collectors will say to go for the hesalite crystal version, and it is a great watch. The ‘sapphire sandwich’ variant does though get you the upgraded 1863 movement which looks as though the bridges etc have been hand finished and the clear back reveals some of Omega’s best traditional watchmaking skills. All in all it is a great watch that, just like the astronauts 50 years ago, won’t let you down.
