Perfect SKX - Versatile and tank
The Seiko SKX013 is the perfect entry level diver watch that definitely holds its own with other luxury watches. It’s versatile with other bands nato (my personal preference), jubilee, and leather straps. It’s definitely a watch for most occasions and will never grow out of style. It is a medium size at 38mm, which suits well for a 6-7inch wrist. It would seem small for larger watches so the SKX007 or SKX009 would be more suited for 7+ wrists, but they also wear small like a 38-40mm. Seiko SKX013
I found the watch to be running fast at initial start. About ten minutes every few hours. After letting it sit the night and needing to be wound up again I shook the shit out of it for about 2 minutes. It has now been three days since shaking the shit out of it and it is now keeping perfect time. The watch is not protrusive on my wrist and has the smaller diameter face so as not to distract attention to my wrist. The watch has a balanced feel and is comfortable to wear at all times. Great Everyday Watch
If you read reviews of Seiko SKX013, it is generally regarded as a great diver’s watch. I like its simple traditional looks and functional design. It is the Iconic SKX007's little brother (as SKX013 is actually the smaller version of it aside for differences between their dial).
