Amazing Longevity - Fantastic Results
This is one great machine! I bought my first one in 2000. If I used it occasionally and for the 15 minutes automatic cut off time, I believe the first one I bought would still be working. However, I'm almost 80 years old and I use it constantly. I have tried almost every other massager made, but they are sitting on the shelf. I use mine several times through out the day and for extended periods to soothe the aches and pains associated with aging. I don't know if I would be able to get to sleep without my Brookstone. My chiropractor has a great massager in his office, but when I went for my last appointment, I took my Brookstone. He examined it and tried it - he told me that it is an awesome machine, and that if he were buying one for use on his own back, he would buy the Brookstone because of the ability to reach any part of your body. The great one in his office requires someone else to use it on you, making it impractical for home use. The Brookstone is heavier than similar units from a different manufacturer, but it is much more effective. Even at my age and physical condition, I have no trouble with the weight. The reviews I have read say the older model that I purchased is a little stronger than the new model, The new model is a little lighter, the handle is better, and the cordless model's convenience makes it more than worth the difference. Exactly what I was hoping for
This is my fourth Brookstone massager in about 15 years. Nothing else has relieved my degenerative back pain - and pain pills can be avoided. I was apprehensive about buying a used item, but since the stores are closed, this was the best alternative. Item was in very good condition - and clean!
