Nice one
This is Sade Abu at her best and this was first released on vynal the album cover was the same and was used as a reference piece for all audiophiles to let people how shit their humble little hifis were . So out they went in their droves to work extra shifts and do doublers so they could afford a Linn turntable. I bought this to take me back to a time when I had hair and could fit into 30" jeans. Fantastic Debut Album
I only bought this album recently as being a child of the 80s. Smooth Operator and Your Love is King ad always played on the radio and instantly take me back to 1984. So I decided to get a copy of the album. What a debut album from such a young group of musicians. I'm a fan of the Jazz and Jazz Funk sound of the early 80s. No a single track on the album I didn't like. Sade has a great voice and each track is backed up with solid support from the musicians.
