I've used Humbrol paint for over 40 years and nothing else.
The tinlets are an excellent size and with proper care can last for years (even when opened).
Enamel paint gives a strong protective coat of paint and adheres to most (with preparation) modelling surfaces.
Although, possibly not as easy to clean as acrylic, (water based) there is nothing that a good application of turps can't sort out.
Modelers of all ages have used enamel paint for a VERY long however, I suppose a possible drawback could be this type of paints inflammable nature. However, sharp blades and glue also have their own 'particular' brand of drawbacks.
