What a fantastic live CD album it rocks from start too finish with a couple off good ballads love of my life will have queen choking back tears in memory of Freddie Mercury it's just a great albums no wonder it's sold out almost everywhere can't get this in HMV it's gone very quickly It gets more nthan 5 star's from me I think 10 if that's ok.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I hated it.
After all the hype (and I do like listening to Queen in the car), I bought this CD. I don't think I made it the whole way through any of the tracks before ejecting it and putting it straight back on ebay to sell. I don't know who chose Adam Lambert to sing with Queen but his over the top embellishments of every song were, in my opinion, awful. Why mess with the original? Listen to George Michael singing 'Somebody To Love'; that's how you cover a Queen song, by staying close to the way Freddie sang it and letting your voice make the difference, not making over the top additions that ruin the song. I can honestly say I hated this album. Whoever told AL he could sing needs a hearing aid; he pretty much ruins every track. I fished out my 3 CD Queen box set which is a great listen; this 'Live Around The World' album is definitely not.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not really for me!
I thought I'd treat myself to this CD as I have heard so much hype about Adam Lambert and Queen. The CD arrived quickly and in brand new perfect condition. However, the songs on the CD, from a live performance in Sydney, were just not for me. I much prefer my old Queen CDs, with Freddie, as it should be. Adam is OK in small doses, but I'm really glad now that I didn't pay a small fortune to see them on tour. A good imitator
