    A Classic Rock Album From The 1960s

    ThIs is debut album for Janice Joplin's band Big Brother & The Holding Company. It is a mixture of live performances and studio recordings. The sound is very compressed, which might seem a little harsh to modern ears, but Joplin's powerful vocals come storming through. Some of the tracks are bit on the long side.
