Great classic reissue
Great album, so not going to talk about the music. I love these 2016 reissues, packaging very similar to the original and quality of the actual remaster is great, a very warm vinyl sound. My only gripe is a bit if crackle and popping on the quite parts of Echo. But it doesn't take away from a great product. Highly recommended if you dont already have a copy of this or to save on wearing out your original, because after all, it's a great album and needs to be played a lot.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

proper solid vinyl like it used to be.
This was a superb album in its day, but now remastered and played on any half-way decent system it is even more of a must have for any prog rock collector. And don't just play 'echoes', re-appraise the whole album and remember just how good some prog rock was. Dark Side next I think...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent quality
I have the original, and this, and the sound quality on the new release is far superior. Fantastic, rich mid tones the original just doesn't capture well enough (technology of the age I imagine) I'd advise against buying original releases over the net. It's a mine field, and you don't usually get what you want, unless you're there in person testing the record. Don't believe a purists who sticks his nose up in the air. Vinyl degrades over time (second law of thermodynamics), and especially after repeated playing. It's scientifically impossible for an 40yr old, original analogue release to sound better than a 3 month old, digitally remastered, brand new vinyl (if done well)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have loved this album since I first heard it in the 80s. I had it on tape, CD and when I heard it had been remastered and pressed on 180g vinyl I jumped for it.
