Good product. Would recommend.
Good produce, second time have purchased and used it. It lasts well outdoors and doesn't wash away in the rain until about 10 days later. After using it I have always notices the plants and saplings survive better and there are less bite marks so can only deduce it is killing the slugs and giving the plants a chance to grow. Too soon to tell, quite expensive
Early this year having read good reviews I ordered the liquid version of this which now seems unobtainable. I thought the liquid was amazing, easy to use, different in composition from any other slug killer, almost waxy in use and seems to be doing a good job with my hostas. When that ran out I had to resort to the slug pellets and so far it’s too early to say how effective they are. Farewell to the best gardening aid ever!
Have wasted a fortune on fraudulent alternatives to mataldehyde which never kill or deter a single slug. With a small scattering of these pellets I caught twenty-two large to giant size slugs in just three days which I was able to dispose of before the birds and hedgehogs took an interest. Slug killler
Unfortunately metaldehyde based products have been, or are being, banned by the authorities in many countries, so it would be unwise of me to recommend this product. Metaldehyde based products are extremely effective in killing arthropods but are also, like many other products, poisonous to mammals including humans, so have to be used with care and discretion.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Metaldehyde is the one that works.
