An interesting change
This is a nice product, soft and flexible. I had to cut the stem off and gently file down the stub, as it was too long for me and filing just stops it scratching you inside (a tip picked up off various forums). In terms of use, it is very easy to insert and the lack of stem does not make removing any more difficult. This was the first time i have used a menstrual cup, so wasn't sure what to expect. First time I used it I had pretty bad period pains but that sometimes happens with me, so wasn't sure if it was just me or the use of the cup. This period has been fine, so must have just been me! Getting used to being so hands on with ones period is a real change, as we are conditioned to have as little contact with our blood as possbile. I must confess, the first morning I woke up and had to remove it, it did make my tummy flip a bit, but seriously, once you've emptied it a time or two it really is nothing. What is great is not having tampons drying me out, which has to be so much healthier for a womans vagina. On the whole it is a positive change and i am glad that I could have this inexpensive cup to buy before I possibly spent more on one that will last a lot longer. Great for sports
