Good quality DVD and HDD recorder
This is a top quality recorder, which allows you to record TV and radio programs to HDD. You can also record directly to DVD, or copy stuff from the HDD to the DVD and even vice-versa. There are lots of other input options, and the output to the TV can be either via SCART or HDMI (I much prefer the latter, but the former is there if you need it.) Short of listing all the various bits and pieces, there isn't much more to say. Get this one and you will be happy.Verified purchase: Yes

Useless
Very dissapointed with same.It was to replace the same model that I already have but was having problems with copying from hdd to dvd,otherwise working fine!This replacement,with either the remote sent with it or the proper one I aleady have with my older machine,on auto tune will only tune in 10 digital stations where older one tunes in loads,will not eject dvd or change from hdd to dvd.In short,completely useless tried plugged in to two seperate LG tvs and two different aerial sockets.In summary,completely useless buy and extremely dissapointed. It's good
This recorder is the fourth one the same that I have owned. I suppose that being a reconditioned machine they have a shorter life than a brand new machine. I keep on owning this particular machine because I want one that has the facility of hard disc and removable disc. First Class Refurbishment
I had had a similar unit for eight years which had proved reliable and excellent. It gave up the ghost and I had to replace it. I bought a new Panasonic DVD recorder which they have adapted to protect media organisations from copyright infringement-it was a dogs dinner. I reluctantly bought a refurbished unit from MJPanansonic as LG no longer manufacture the unit.
