not creamy
I bought this, because I wanted a RAW product (fats, when heated/roasted get rancy), that didn't have any oil added either. this one came out fairly cheap, because I bought the 9 pack, so the value is good. The consistency, though, is not what I'm used to from other - unfortunately roasted - tehina. It's not smooth, but a bit grainy, and stays that way even when making a dip with water and lemon. also, it's like all it's own oil has been squeezed out, and it comes out in pieces because of that. Is that, because it's raw, or because it doesn't have any oil added? Tehina is in itself usually oily enough (50% fat), so why should it come out like this? I tried sreading it on rice cakes, but it doesn't spread properly either, because of this strange consistancy.
