Madcap road movie in which the oddball Pee-Wee Herman sets off across the States in pursuit of his stolen bike. Bizarre adventures ensue which take in the famous Texan fort of the Alamo, a reincarnated truck driver called Large Marge, and a big screen adaptation of his quest starring Morgan Fairchild and James Brolin. This cult film was Tim Burton's directorial debut.
