This courtroom comedy stars Michael Richards (Seinfeld's wacky hipster Kramer) as Richard Rietti, an out- of-work actor who finds himself masquerading as a courtroom attorney. When Rietti travels to Nevada to give his lawyer buddy, Charles Tuttle, a bachelor party to remember, Tuttle becomes too hung-over to attend his trial. The actor steps in to play the lawyer, planning to simply request a continuance and walk away but, when the judge denies the request, Rietti is forced to serve the rest of the trial as attorney. With the real lawyer in the gallery trying to instruct and a bad actor taking centre stage, the comedy court is well and truly in session.
