The best album no one’s ever heard...
Sad songs that uplift the spirit, simple guitar solos that say more in moments than many players achieve in a lifetime, and a singer only a cat’s whisker away from the transcendence of Sandy Denny. Not an easy listen, but then the best albums rarely are. Britain’s equivalent to rock and roll - heart and soul, maybe? If you’ve got the cab fare, mister, you’ll do alright...

Well worth listening to if you've never heard it.
It's a great album and is probably the best from Richard and Linda Thompson as a duo. However, I was expecting the Island Remaster edition but I only got the original issue, without any bonus tracks. Richard Thompson's guitar playing is very good throughout anyway.
