Properly engineered piece of equipment
A Judge , made in in England , Tin opener. To the eye this kitchen tool looks virtually identical to one from a 'pound shop'........ until you examine it more closely. The stress point is the gears where the wheel that cuts the lid meet the wheel that rotates the tin. Our pound shop special has a plastic bush and so much play that the gears nearly go in and out of mesh, that will be because of the Crap build quality then.... The Judge is a proper piece of Engineering, with a metal bush and proper gears. Built to last a 'lifetime' No wonder they guarantee the tin opener for 25 years.

Better than most
Looks strong enough to outlast its warranty period, works well,( I have not tried the ultimate test yet, The "Tinned Pie ") The angle of the handles takes a bit of getting used to,but soon got the hang of it....
