Great for certain binoculars.If your binoculars have the narrow type of body hinge or bridge See link to image below, then this tripod mount is for you. It fits my Zeiss Dyalit 7x42B, binoculars, but many modern binoculars may have a focusing knob located around the body hinge or bridge, in which case this tripod mount may not fit. It did not fit another pair of binoculars with a rocking focus knob where the clamp would need to go. Sorry link not permitted. Simple but it works
The adaptor fits any tripod with a standard 1/4 inch screw fitted, typically a camera tripod. The height is sufficient to ensure clearance from the screw fitting and the adjuster knob does not protrude sufficiently to interefere with the side of the binocular (unlike some similar more expensive products). Great for older style binoculars
This adjustable binocular to tripod clamp is the only available clamp I've been able to find for use with older style binoculars that don't have a screw hole in the front of the central tube. My 1980's vintage U. S. Naval binoculars work well with these. I have also used it in on civilian 8x40s and civilian 10x50 binoculars. Well made. Durable. Get it.
