Struggling to get it to work and doubts about accuracy
I am a busy GP in the UK and use a dgital thermometer every day. I hgave an expensive one that sits in the draw in my room. I pick it out, I press the button and voila in 2 secs a read-out. I needed one to sit in my house visit back and expected the same from this on the cheap but that isn't what happens.
It takes a while to wake up, then you have to hold it close to the forehead until you hear a beep. I'm now over 60 and I've yet to hear that beep it is so quiet.
I end up holding the button down for about 10 secs and every time I've used it the temp has been 36.3.
It may be coincidence but the last 5 pateints all having the same temp seems a bit strange. I don't trust it any more
It is also very difficult to switch off. It cycles through various settings before it eventually closes down
