Great for a home or SME network
Versions 3 and 4 are silent and have no fans, although they run warmer than the equally silent JGS524E. I confess to not having explored LAG (Link AGgregation) or the SFP ports yet, but I must laud this switch over the JGS524E for the huge amount of management available. My v3 takes some 20 seconds to boot, whereas the v4 takes a whopping 80 seconds. I can only assume that it is time well spent! Recommended for the home although these switches are the full 19" rack size.
